RTI recently awarded funding for 3D in vitro cell culture

Recently, RTI Internationl, was awarded funding to develop a novel laboratory tool that may more accurately predict responses to respiratory challenges and therapeutics in humans.

Funding comes in the form of a $3.8 MM contract from the DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency) and is being developed in collaboration with the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
