BDT is looking for a talented and disciplined Optics Engineer to design and evaluate early stage biosensor instrumentation under bench-top, preclinical, and clinical conditions. The successful candidate must possess advanced knowledge in Bio-Photonics, optics, and optical fluorescence spectroscopy. Responsibilities include the design of evaluation routines for the various stages of prototype testing and the modeling of the overall prototype performance, e.g. modeling of light propagation for optimization of signal levels, signal to noise ratio, sensitivity and accuracy. The incumbent will work as part of our highly skilled, multi-disciplinary group of biologists, chemists, engineers and algorithm specialists.
