nxdm Network

Ever wonder what would happen if medical products were selected for development based solely on the needs of a specific patient population and their caregivers rather than on how much money a company can make? If so, you can find out the answer by becoming a part of the nxdm Network.

The nxdm network is a unique public/private consortium that includes Becton Dickinson, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, ibiliti and several other organizations. This network helps ideas for some of the most innovative technologies from across the world for diabetic patients become a reality. These technologies are evaluated based on the needs of diabetic patients (especially patients who may not have insurance or who can’t afford their healthcare) and their caregivers. The Network selects several products each year that will receive development feedback, expertise and potentially financial support.
